Sleeping Always, She Doesn't Not Wake Up Early Even Alarm Rings. Sleep Apnea?
My daughter is at college and recently has been waking up in the morning when her (6) alarms go off, gets out of bed shuts off the alarms then goes back to bed and can't remember doing it. When she does get up, her phone is always in a different place than when she went to bed. It doesn't seem to matter if she has had 10 or 4 hours of sleep. She sets so many alarms so she has a better chance of waking her up, but she still shuts them off. It doesn't happen every day, but this has made her miss some classes. Could it be sleep apnea and she just isn't getting a good nights sleep?
** 1. Sleep apnea affects the way you breathe when you’re sleeping,[associated with snoring],and although causes forgetfulness, but for that consult a pediatrician who specializes in sleep disorders. 2. any decrease in school performance [apart from missing classes], or change in behavior [irritable, angry, hostile], contact a doctor immediately if you spot the warning signs. 3. avoid fat rich diet and increase carbohydrates intake,caffeine/tea intake at bed time, make sure she is getting 'Quality' and not 'Quantity' of sleep.[darken the room, bright lights will keep her awake] 4. If she don’t feel right for an extended period of time, you should probably consult a mental health professional.
