Slight Pain In Back Of Throat After Swallowing Sandwich Through Wrong Pipe But Coughed It Up
I swallowed a piece of sandwich and it went down the wrong pipe, but only for a brief second I managed to cough it up as soon as I could. It didn't feel good as you could imagine but my lung is fine, I am however having slight pains in the back of my throat, like in the middle of my throat too, is that normal its only been about two hours.
Hi and thanks for the query, The sandwich probably grazed your throat and hence the pain. Do not worry you, will feel better in a few hours. You can take a pain killer if the pain is too much. Regards, Dr Kishori.
