Small, Hard, Brown Gray Itchy Patch Near Underarm. Advice
Anyway, about a month ago, my underarms started to itch again, and I discovered a small, hard, brown-gray patch near the front of my underarm. It looked and felt like a bumpy scab, but it wouldn't peel off and never went away, and is painful when I tried to pull it off like a scab, however, it didn't bleed or look like a wound when I did. It looked like it was attached to/part of my skin.
Hi.Thanks for the query
You could be suffering from eczema in the area.
In most cases ,this should subside by application of a steroid cream for 1-2 weeks and taking anti histaminic tablets orally.
It should be remembered that this is a recurrent condition and frequent follow up treatment with a dermatologist might be necessary.
You should try to keep the area hydrated by application of an emollient several times in the day .Do not apply any deodorant in the area around it.
Hope this is helpful
take care!
