Small Movable Lump On Head, Tenderness, Bruising In Area, No Head Injury. Due To Stress?

I have a small lump on the side of my head, it has been there for a month or so now. I first thought it was a spot but I now dont think it is. Its not very sore but it does move about. More recently on the same side of my head (on the forehead ) it has become very tender and sore as if i have a bruise there. I haven t banged my head at all though. People keep telling me its caused by stress??
