Hi there ~

It sounds like your daughter is having gingivitis. This is a common condition that affects the dentition and is usually very painful. Poor oral hygiene combined with bad food choices contribute to the condition. It is helpful to rinse the mouth with listerine regularly and consult a dentist at the first available appointment.

I hope this helps. Take care.

hi and welcome,
Appearence of blisters or ulcerated areas on the oral mucous membrane is seen due to dificiency of certain vitamins, dehydration , dry mouth or xerostomia , poor oral hygiene may lead to bacterial infection or sometimes viral infection like herpes , fungal infections like candidiasis leads to white ulcerated areas.
Exact diagnosis can be made only after clinical examination .
i would suggest you to apply oral antiseptic, analgesic ointment like dentogel topically over the blisters.
Use mouth rinse like chlorhexidine for gargling which prevents infection.
start with multivitamin supplements and vitamin C lozenges 2 times daily for 5 to 7 days.
drink lot of water and keep yourself hydrated.
avoid hot and spicy food.
This treatment should relieve your symptoms .
take care.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
The commonest cause for white spot on the side f his cheek could be worm infestation. Give him a single dose of deworming medicine like Albendazole 10ml at bed time.
Multivitamin deficiencies are the other causes. Give him adequate and healthy nutrition. You can also try giving him syrup like Zincovit 5ml every day.
The sore inside the cheek most probably seems like an aphthous ulcer. This should also go away with adequate nutrition and syrup zincovit in 3 weeks time.
If it is not all these, then it can also be superficial fungal infection.
If the above measures fail, see a Dermatologist for clinical evaluation.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Regards.

Hello,
I am Dr.Neha Gupta (dentist) and am glad to address to your query here.
Minor injuries like an accidental cheek bite, overzealous brushing, spicy food, or acidic food can be some of the probable causes for mouth blisters to occur.
diet is lacking in vitamin B 12, zinc, iron, or folate, you might develop mouth blisters.
TREATMENT:-
Gargling the mouth with cold water helps in reducing mouth blisters
nutritional supplements can improve your condition to an extent.
always consult your doctor and enquire about recommended dosage before you start taking any oral tablets etc.
Turmeric powder has been known for its antiseptic properties for long. Take one tablespoon of turmeric powder and add one tablespoon glycerin to it. Mix it and apply the solution on your ulcers for relief.
Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at healthcaremagic through my profile directly.
