Small, Pea-sized Bump Slightly Below Knee Cap. What Is This Bump?
I have a small, pea-sized bump about 1-2 below my knee cap, about halfway between the front of the leg and the side. No pain either with or without touch. I am a runner, about 20 miles per week. No redness or bruising at the site. Just wondering what this could be? I am male, 46 years old, did not have any knee surgery or any other issues previously. Thanks.
If you don't have any history of knee injuries there is no need to worry unless u are overweight . It's an enlargement of bursa (it's the joint covering) of your knee cap.
