Small Pimple Like Bumps On Buttocks, Feels Like Hard Hive. Applying Benadryl Cream. Remedy?
I often get small,pimple like bumps on my buttocks, recently I got several hard ,red hurting bumps. not very itchy but feels like a hard hive. it has seem to spread to all over my behind. i am obese. no one else in my family has experienced any symptoms, and every time i go to the toilet, i spray lysol on theseat. i have used antibiotic creams benadryl creams , it has been 4 days i have these bumps/bites, i look hoorible,HELP!!
Hello, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. From your Query i understood that you are suffering from folliculitis. It is the inflammation of hair follicle cells. It may be caused by bacteria called staphylococcus. As you are obese you are at high risk for follicular infection. Apply mupirocin ointment topically. If not controlled then only culture sensitivity and other investigations are essential. Good personal hygiene and hand wash with antibacterial soaps are nesessary to avoid recurrence after treatment.
