Small Red Itchy Bumps Seen On Inner Thighs While Waking Up. What Could These Be ?
I have recently began noticing small red bumps on my inner thighs after waking up in the morning. The bites seem like mosquito bites but how could they bite me in the night and under the covers? I've briefly checked our bed for bed bugs but we have a black mattress so it is difficult. What sort of bugs can these be and how do I solve the itchy problem?
Hi, You are having lichen urticatus, also known as papular urticaria. It is a hypersensitive reaction to insects. The insect may be bed bug or other. You are having itching. And red papules. Take steroid in tappering dose. Take antihistaminics till your itch is relieved. If there seems infection, take antibiotics. Apply steroid combined with antibiotics. Avoid soap. Avoid worries and anxiety. I hope you will be benefitted. Still you consult dermatologist.
Regards.
