Small Red Round And Irregular Spots On Arms, Face. Diagnosed For Lichen Planus. Medicines Of Not Any Help. Remedy?

I have been getting small red round and irregular spots on my arms and face across my nose and cheeks. It feels like something crawling on my skin. I went to see a Dermatologist in April and May, they did a biopsy on a couple of places on my arms and said it is lichen planus. All they did was give me some expensive creams to put on my arms and face, but it is not solving the problem. This has been going on since March. My primary doctor thought it might be ringworm and I knew it wasn't that but used the anti-fungal cream anyway. I keep my skin really clean and do put aloe on it which helps for a short period of time. Thank You
