Small, Reddish, Wart Like Knots On Back Of Elbows, Inner Fingers, Top Of Knuckles, Painful To Touch. On Wart Cream, Lotions. Suggest
I have developed small wart-like knots on the backs of my elbows, inner fingers and top of one knuckle....I have had them now for over a month and have been treating them with wart cream, medicated lotions. They are reddish in appearance and when bumped or knocked they are extremely painful. There is no oozing. My pharmacist thought they looked like "calcium deposits"...some on elbows have faded but if I were to irritate it again, they will inflame and swell back up.

Hi .small warts like lesions over the elbow .inner fingers and knuckles can be xanthomas .the differential diagnosis of viral warts can be done by application of vinegar on them which makes skin white over the warts .first rule out cholesterol deposits.ssurgical exicision of nodules can be done.salactin paint can be used.even electrocautery and chemical cautery by trichloroacetic acid .can be used
