Small White Dots In Both Eyes, Sore And Felt Bruised. Reason?

Went to opticians ysterday and was told I have small white dots in both my eyes, been reffered to hospital and waiting for an appt. I went to optician as my eyes were sore and felt bruised, had dye put in my eyes - there are no signs of infection or and there are no stratches to my eyes, what are these white dots likely to be?

Hi,

Usually, white dots are referring to inflammatory diseases of the eye. That's why the optician has referred to the hospital to investigate what is really causing such white dots to get the right treatment.

All the best!
