Smelly Old Blood Discharge,Why Does It Smell Bad ?

I had an abortion Jan. 21, 2010. Wednesday February 17th, 2010 my period began. However it is now February 25th and there is still blood-but it's more like spotting and it smells REALLY bad could this be old blood? Why does it smell bad ? Should I be alarmed ?

You should be concerened..go back to your gyne, report it, you might be having retained bits of conception products that is got infected and giving bad smell, you need to be put on antibiotics and done a repeat cleaning of the uterus, do not ignore it might lead to future infertility issues.
