Smoking Addiction, Smokes Three To Four Cigarettes A Day. Purchased Nicotex. Should I Take A Lower Dose?
Good Evening, I am from xxxxx,I am chain Smoker(3-4 cigarette per day),Today i brought Nicotex 4 mg as advice from medical shop rep, After goggled it i understand those who smoke more than 20 cigarette only can use this, Please Advice Me still i can continue using Nicotex 4 mg or replace it with Nicotex 2 mg Please help me i plan to take this from tomorrow onwards Thanks

The important thing to understand in quiting any type of addiciton is that you should have full determination and confidence. Smoking is a big problem and is associated with many disease. It is good that you have determine to quite smoking.
Nicotex which you are taking is just help you to quite smoking, but your determination is the most important thing. As you are not smoking too much (3-4 cigarette per day), it would not be much difficult to quit. You can start with lower dose of nicotex to help you quiting smoking.

It comes in 2 doses, 2mg - which is recommended for light smokers and 4mg which is recommended for heavy smokers (> 1 pack per day). In your case, since you smoke only 3 - 4 cigarettes per day, 2mg should be sufficient. It can be taken on a need basis, i.e. whenever you develop a craving or an uncontrollable urge to smoke.
