Snakebite On The Ankle. Severe Pain In The Thigh With Swelling And Discoloration. On Tylenol. When Will I Recover?

I was bitten by a copperhead snake on the back of my ankle 5 days ago. The pain is still excruciating all the way up to my thigh, very swollen, and discolored. I can not walk. When I went to the hospital they decided not to give me anti-venom. They gave me 2 tylenol and sent me on my way. When will this pain go away and I can walk again?
