Soft Bump On Penile Shaft, Dull Aching Pain In Leg After Masturbation, Cord Like Horizontal Structure When Pressed Down. No Hard Plaque. Possible Thrombosis?
Hi, I am concerned about my penis. Last month I noticed a soft bump in the penile shaft on the right side, which is more evident with an erection. I also get dull aching pains in my right leg after masturbating so I presume this has some correlation as these pains only started once I noticed the bump. As expected I was concerned about Peyronie's yet I don't feel any hard plaque, nor is my penis bending abnormally, nor is it bending to the side with the bump on it. If I press down I feel a slight cord like structure running horizontally, but I cannot tell if this is causing the bump. I am 16. Is this likely to be thrombosis?
Yes ,it may be due to superficial thrombophlebitis of dorsal vein of penis known as mondor's disease. You need proper clinical examination and history taking. Doppler ultrasound can also detect thrombosis within the veins and it is the investigation of choice .
