sometimes my heart beats really fast and then returns to normal but my chest stings. Any idea what could be wrong or is it just stress ?

Go to the doctor. It vary well may be stress related. Stress is no joke. It can make you physically sick, as well as mentally tired. I had the same symptoms about a year ago, and my doctor had prescribed something mild for me to take, just for awhile. I knew what was causing my anxiety and had to face it . Please make an appointment with your doctor. Sometimes a person can be so stressed that they don't realize how anxious they really are. Hope you feel better.
