Sore Breasts, Painful Nipples. Taken Norethiserone To Help With Period Symptoms. Medicine Causing Headache. Problem?

I am currently on femulen. Was told to take norethiserone to help with period symptoms. I had break thro bleeding on day 16 of my cycle which I was told is normal. I'm now on day 36 and still havent taken a period. I stopped the norethiserone due to awful headaches. My boobs are sore, nipples horrendously painful to touch n I feel seedy. Is there a chance I cld be pregnant. Not done a test yet as I'm abroad

Hi,
Your symptoms are suggestive of a hormone overload since you are already on the progestogen pill and have been prescribed additional progesterone. Yet, you can go for the serum beta-hCG estimation if you wish to confirm/exclude pregnancy. Progesterone causes water logging in the body leading to tender breasts and headache is a side effect of the hormone supplement. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
