Sore Jaw, Clicking Sound, Blocked Ears. What Are The Causes And Treatment?

Hi, I ve been getting a progressively sore jaw over a few months, just every now and then. I have felt it click twice (more like a clunk and hurt quite a bit) and this morning I woke and it felt locked in place, went back to sleep and woke later and it was just sore. It s been fine all day, getting a bit sore again now. Also have had what feels like blocked ears. Any ideas? Should I see a dr?

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,

I have gone through your query, dont worry clicking sound , sore jaw, can be due to Temporomandibular disorder.

You do is consult dentist and go for examination of Temporomandibular joint.

You can do Hot water formentation .

Apply ointment Diclofenac sodium twice daily on painful area of face near ear .

Take one tablet Myospaz forte once daily for8r 3 days.
