Sore Lump In Throat, Painful While Swallowing, Sore Lymph Nodes, Increased Appetite. Flu Or Strep?

I feel like I am starting to get the flu or strep. I have a sore lump in my throat, slightly painful swallowing, fatigue, and sore lymph nodes in my neck. I am also very hungry, my appetite had increased quite a bit the past several days. I've been eating lots of veggies but some sweets also due to such cravings and hunger. Is this normal or should I be concerned that I'm just gaining weight?

Hi, it appears that you might be having sore throat, and tonsilitis, so i advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
The excess of apitite may not have relation with the infection. it may be secondary to the drugs you are using for infection, or by infection, being shifted to the stomach.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe erythrocin 500 mg, B.D.decongestants, and antihistamine , and paracetamol. Thank you.
