Sore Lumps On Labia After Shaving With Rusty Razor. Could This Be Tetanus Infection?

so the other day i was shaving my genital area and i noticed yesterday that 2 big sore bumps appeared on my labia. they dont look like shaving bumbs and today they were scabbed over. the razor i used had a small rusty spot on it so i was worried i might have a tetanus infection.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Tetanus infection is caused when there is a severely contaminated wound usually a crush injury. Your wound seems to be infected with staphylococci which cause localized infections. Application of an antibacterial cream over the bumps for 3-4 days will suffice. Avoid old razors while shaving to avoid infection.
Thanks.
