Sore Neck, Itching Face, Hot To Touch, No Fever, Blushing Problems
This morning I was rear-ended for the second time in a month. My neck is sore, but not as bad as the first time, however since this morning, I ve had a flushed face with mild tingly or itching sensations, hot to the touch, but I don t have a fever . I am never flushed, I don t blush easily, and I don t think I m having an allergic reaction. Is there something about the accident that could cause this?
Hello, It is possible that the whiplash injury may have caused some trauma to the cervical spine. I would suggest that you get an XRay of the cervical spine to know if there is any obvious cervical spondylosis that may have worsened with the injury. MRI is the best investigation for these types of symptoms, and provides more information about any soft tissue injury.
Best Wishes.
