Sore Throat And Fever. Taking Penicillin And Ibuprofen. Loss Of Voice. Can I Travel By Flight?
I had a very sore throat and temperature went to drs yesterday and she gave me a prescription for penicillin and told me to take 2 paracetamol and 1 ibrobufen every 4 hours. I woke up this morning with my voice gone . please can you help I am due to fly to settle on monday to see our Grandchildren it would be awful not to be able to talk to them.thank you Ruth Wright

You probably have viral infection and which has lead to voice loss.
You need to consult your doctor for
Examination -Flexible laryngoscopy
If there is any problem with movement of vocal cords then need to start oral steroid medication .
Take care of reflux/acidity/heart burn.
You need to continue antibiotics
