Sore Throat, Coughing Green Mucus With Strains Of Blood, Stiffness Of Neck, Runny Nose, Weak
I have multiple symptoms during the past 24 hours:
- Sore Throat
- Coughing green mucus with strains of blood
- Stiffness of neck
- Shoulder, Chest and upper back pain (which is still there when I rest)
- Runny nose
- Difficulty breathing (shortness of breath / Heavy breathing)
I constanly feel tired and weak! Can you help me please?

Hi Dear and welcome to health care magic...
Dear you have a severe respiratory tract infection,fever,headache and shoulder pain are all constitutional...
green sputum usually occur in pseudomonas infection ,or by mixed flora ....
if you did not take any antibiotics ,then send your sputum sample for C/S....
mean while strat on good antibiotics like tab claricid 500mg twice aday for 7 to 10 days ...take any mucolator syrup so that sputum is easily cough out ...tab panadol CF for symptomatic relief ....

Your symptoms typically represent an upper respiratory tract infection. But a physical examination id mandatory to rule out any involvement of lower tract.
Do you have smoking history ? Any previous episodes of blood in sputum ?
Is it fresh bleed or altered blood you see in the sputum ?
These details are also required to make some comment on the presence of blood.
You get an appointment with an internist. He will prescribe necessary Antibiotics and do some blood work and xray to rule out any lower tract involvement.
In the meantime I'd advise you to take stream inhalations and to avoid smoking. Take some over the counter analgesics like acetaminophen also.
Please revert for further queries.
