Hello

Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query .

I hve gone through your query regarding excessive salivation in sore throat.

In this connection I would like to say that excessive salivation is felt when swallowing of saliva is less due to pain on degulitition as occurs whenever there are ulcers on tonsills or on anterior pillars of tonsillar fossa. Second cause of excessive salivation is due to increase in salivary secreation as observed in cases of siloadenitis may be submandibular or parotid.

Depending on the disease as explained above treatment is planed. in the meantime you should take-
(a) Antibiotic.
(b) Anti inflammatory.
(c) Antiseptic mouth wash & gargling.

I hope by above treatment you will get responce.

Regards.
