Sore Throat Followed By Dizziness, Nauseated. Why ?

I woke up with a sore throat Sunday morning & this morning. Then later on this afternoon I drank some sweet tea from sonic & I rode an hour long car ride. On the way home I felt car sick. & then my mom stopped by Popeyes & I felt like I was going to throw up from the smell. When I got home I sat down on the couch and still felt dizzy. So I got up and took a bath, and I started throwing up. & I m still nauseated & dizzy & I have no clue why.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Vertigo most commonly occurs due to inner ear disease. Since you are experiencing a sore throat, it is likely you that you are experiencing a upper respiratory tract viral illness.

This can affect the ear and cause temporary problems with balance. Vertigo and dizziness can be associated with symptoms of nausea and vomiting like you are experiencing.

The symptoms should resolve when your viral symptoms resolve.

There are over the counter anti emetics that can be used to help decrease the nausea and vomiting.

I hope this helps
