Sore Throat, Losing Voice, Cough. Should I Take Z Pack?
Hello ...I was out in the rain all day on friday and felt drainage in throat with a sore throat coming on....now on sunday I have lost my voice altogether......still have small amount of coughing.....does this need a z-pack or is there something other than an antibiotic I can take to help. I feel like I have to clear my throat but nothing is there to clear....

From history it appears that you might be having marked infection as you have hoarseness of voice.
Go for one antibiotic like Z-pack for 3 days.
Do salt water gargles.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
