Sore Throat, Orange Mucus Similar To Bile. Using Nasal Spray. Is Color Due To Nasal Spray Changing Color?
I have had a sore throat for about 10 days. My doctor after the first few days says he felt I had a virus.A week later, I still have it. I thought it may have been a sinus infection at first, but the congestion didn't last long. He told me to use a nasal spray (steroid). I saw him yesterday morning and he gave me a prescription for an antibiotic, but I haven't filled it yet. (He said he still felt it was a virus) Today I have alot of post nasal drip down my throat. Weird thing is, the mucous is orange, similar to bile. (Not pink or yellow/green) I have never seen this before. Could it be the nasal spray changing the color? I have no idea.

these pin to infective sinusitis this can be superadded infection in viral leading to infective sinusitis
you need to control sinus infection by taking doxycycline and metronidazole in bd dose for 5 -7 days as they are fast sinus clearing agents
can use anti allergic to decrease the sinus secretions can apply neomycin h ointment in nose bd with sea water 2 rops in both nostril twice a day
use antipyretic for fever
after this you can confirm by getting xray pns waters view and treat sinuses if left with infection after consulting ent specialist
