Sore Throat, Shivering, Pain On Swallowing Saliva, Weakness, High Fever, Sweating. Treatment For Symptoms?
I 16 years old. All weekend i have been fine. This morning i woke up with a sore throat . By the time I arrived at school I was freezing, but in reality i wasnt. I made it through half of the day. I reached the point, it was hard to swallow anything including my own saliva , felt so cold my teeth were chattering, weaknes through out my entire body, a temperture of 102.3. I was forced to go home, i took a short nap, but had awaken within an hour sweating. I have finals tomorrow, PLEASE HELP :(
It sounds as though you have the cold or flu virus. Unfortunately in the first few days your symptoms are likely to worsen.
The use of paracetamol, tepid sponging, cold liquids and fan therapy would reduce the fever and the paracetamol would also help in any muscle or joint pain.
There are antiseptic/ analgesic sprays or gargles that would help with the sore throat
It is important to get plenty of rest and drink alot of fluids. Since the flu is stirring it would be best if you are assessed by your doctor who can also give a letter to give to your school to excuse you from your examination.

it will need antibiotics and fever redusing tablets and take rest take soft food
