Sore Throat, Stabbing Pain In Lungs, Heart Beating Faster. What Could Be This?
Not sure what I have. It started with a sore throat that would not go away about three weeks ago. The sore throat got more bearable but then it started to hurt when I breathe in deeply, a sharp stabbing pain in my lungs. It's better when I stand up or sit but when I lie down it really hurts. It also hurts when I bend over and my heart races and feels like it's beating hard and off when this happens.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. No doubt sore throat is there , but you haven't mentioned about the treatment , you have taken or not . If taken , responding or not. Pain is in both lungs or in one? Increase in heart beat may be due to fever or infection in body including throat. In my opinion get in an X ray chest and blood examination for C B C, E S R . If possible throat swab culture and get treatment from an E N T specialist. Good luck. Dr. HET
