Sore Throat,small Polyp. Prescribed Z Pack, Amoxicillon, Not Much Improvement. Recommendations?

I have on left side of throat sore with white end, looks like small polip. burns a little sometimes, does not bother me generally,Doctor prescribed me Z-pack and Amoxicillon 500. After 1 week of using not much improvement. I had it for few weeks now .Checked for allergies, neg. No fever, I feel good generally. What else can i do?
