Sores, Burning, Itching, Ulcer In Groin Area. How To Cure Them?

I have been having problems since May 2013 with sores, burning & itching in my groin area. I was diagnosed with jock itch and given meds. They did not work and to make a long story short my doctor has given me many different meds topical and oral and this problem did not clear up. Finally, I was told to stop all medications. I have been tested for all types of STDs plus herpes everything is negative. I have been feeling good and went for a follow up yesterday. within two hours of leaving the appointment my symptoms started up again with ulcers around my groin and pain in my penis. I have been to my primary doctor and a dermatologist. They all think I am nuts! I have real symptoms but know one is listening to me. Do you have any ideas as to what this is?? I am 28 years old.

Hi,

It seems that you may be having herpes progenitalis.

It is caused by HSV virus type 2 IN 95% cases and type 1 in 5 % cases.

The disease occurs in frequent attacks.

The lesions occurs suddenly, heal after treatment and may relapse.

This clinches the diagnosis towards HP.

Initially, there may be normal antibody titres. So that does not rule out HP.

No other then clinical approach may be useful to diagnose HP.

antiviral drug like acyclovir tablets and cream may be used to alleviate the lesion .
But for long term control, it may be used for long term period.

Immunobusters may be taken for prevention.

Avoid stress, worries and heavy exercise.

You consult eminent dermatologist.

Thanks.
