Sores Near The Opening Of My Vagina, Frequent Urination. Taken Monistat. Problem?
I've never had a UTI, I have been experiencing frequent urination and some initial burning but I discovered three flat sores near the opening of my vagina, they are not bumps and they are not open. I thought I had a yeast infection and took Monistat-1 on Sunday, I'm still experiencing discomfort. Not really any unusual discharge and no strong smells, just irritation from the sores
As per your history, it seems to be some sexually transmitted genital tract infection. I will suggest you and your sexual partner to see a qualified healthcare professional at the earliest and get yourself examined and investigated. Both of you should also check your HIV AND STS status.

Hi Dear, It appears that you are suffering from both UTI as well as genital infection. The sores which you have noticed may be due to vaginal infection due to sexually transmitted disease or may have resulted due to repeated itching as a result of irritation Monistat helps only in fungal infection. Other infections remain unaffected. Also, in such cases local treatment in form of pessaries and gels helps a lot. But, youneed to get thoroughly examined by a gynae and treated accordingly Good Luck
