Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Look, your sperm count is really lower than normal. Generally, we take sperm count of greater than 15 million as normal, as per WHO 2010.

Motility of the sperm is normal. Pus cells are present. Normal semen contains no pus cells ( as per WHO 2010). So, first you have to take broad spectrum antibiotic like ciprofloxacin.

Repeat the test. If abnormality still persists, do an ultrasound scan of scrotum. Hormone levels should be tested also. If all are normal, you have to take coenzyme Qand vitamin E.

Lastly, consult with an infertility specialist for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Das Arindam
