Hi, thanks for posting your query to us.
I will be glad to help you.
The hard raised spot on your foot seems to be a
corn. A corn is an area of hard, thickened skin that develop when the skin is exposed to excessive pressure or friction. They commonly occur on the feet and can cause pain and discomfort when you walk.
Some of the common causes of corn development are tight fitting footwear, high heeled footwear, tight fitting stockings and socks, deformed toes,
or spending a lot of time standing during the day.
Corns are known for their recurrence.
Home remedies are available in the form of corn caps, acid solutions but are not advisable as they may damage the normal surrounding normal skin.
Corns can be treated by chemical cautery, electro cautery,
carbon dioxide laser or surgery in a clinical setting. Along with this the underlying cause has to be identified and managed which will prevent its recurrence.
Hope this helps you.
