Spot On Right Trapezius, Growing Deeper In Skin, Headache

My father is in his early 60s, works outside in all weather and 18 months ago had a spot come up on his right trapezius area. I am a nurse so I am somewhat familiar with melanoma, after that long could this have grown deeper that just the skin in this amount of time? He has no health insurance so drs don't want to see him. But he is starting to have bad headaches.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your concern for your father, here you can wait for some time and have watch on lesion whether it increases in size or changes in texture if you find something like that then it need to be investigated, but I am sure nothing will come like that such lesion always comes due to age, it may not be the Melanoma, just do not worry take good care of your father, have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
