Spot Shown In Chest X-ray. Blood Test Normal. Sputum Provided Thrice Results Awaited. Will I Pass The Medical Test?
Dear Doctor, I have done the relevant medical test for visa to work in Dubai. Bloods were ok but I was told that spots were showing on my chest X-ray . I have been asked to provide sputum 3 times. If negative I should pass the medical test?? I am to provide my 3rd sample and there after wait to hear from them. Appreciate your advice. Kind Regards, Angelina

Your X ray must have shown a spot with possibility of Tuberculosis it may be a spot of childhood or sometimes it may reactivate and can cause disease. So sputum samples for Acid Fast Bacilli is tested to rule out active Tuberculosis. Do you have fever,Loss of weight or cough and sweating more so in the evening if no . You say your blood test are normal then threre is more possibility of sputun should come negative and you shold pass the medical test.
