Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

With little history, I presume that you are having papular urticaria.

It is also called lichen urticatus.

The cause would be the hypersensitivity to insects like flea, bedbug, mosquito or some other.

There is itchy papules on extremities and trunk.

You are right, the disease may be improved by steroids , but can relapse if the cause is not removed.

And therefore , I would like to advise you to have insects free area.

Use insecticides to keep the area insects free.

You may consult for perfect diagnosis and treatment to dermatologist ..

Thanks.

I hope you got my answer.
