Squeezing Pressure In Center Of Chest And Back. Normal EKG. What Could Be This?

I have squeezing pressure in the center of my chest and feel in my back as well. The pressure is constant and is more compressed when I sit with my back leaned, or pressed up against something (more pressure is felt here) or lye down. I went to an urgent care facility and the doctor told me nothing, during the examination, pointed to any direct cause and my heart, lungs and belly appeared fine. An EKG was performed as well and was normal. I am quite concerned because this feeling is felt through out the course of the day and never goes away. Can you give me an idea of what could be the cause?

Hi,
From history it seems that this might be due to some pressure developed in cervical spines giving rise you this trouble.
If you are elderly then this might be due to degenerative changes in your cervical spines giving irritation or pressure on nerves passing through spines.
Go for x-ray cervical spines.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
If advised by surgeon go for physiotherapy.
Ok and take care.
