Stabbing Pain In Heart, Twisting Feeling, Racing Heart. Should I Meet A Doctor? Recommendations?

My name is brooke I am 20 years old, my heart races a lot even when I am laying down doing nothing, I have been to the doctor have had a heart monitor and they have looked at my heart ( sonogram) along with a EKG. My heart recently has had stabbing pains lasting maybe 7 second and then all the sudden tonight it felt like someone was twisting it and it was extremely uncomfortable. I am extremely worried. Should I go to the ER? Or wait and schedule am appointment tomorrow.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The description of pain is not typical of heart its surroundings...pain from the heart is oppressing, in central chest (and left), worse on effort, relieved by rest, may radiate to shoulders and arms, associated with sweating and so on.
Talk to you doctor...He will be having an opinion based on clinical examination ad Echocardiogram...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
