Stabbing Pain, Pricking In Foot. Doctors Unable To Diagnose In Spite Of MRIs, Scans, Electro Analgesia, Nerve Blocks. Advice?

My dad is 71. Since October 2012 we have been in and out of emergency rooms, MRI's, scans, spinal stenosis, electro analgesia, nerve blocks to back, foot, ankle...seen 10 doctors, EMG. On lots of medication...just to solve right foot burning pain, stabbing, pin and needle...now, just a week ago, he can't even walk the pain is so great...and since October suffering from extreme pain anxiety attacks....we need help for the foot. please advise!

Medicines as Mecobalamine & Alpha-lipoic acid in higher doses may help.
A psychiatrist's opinion is also needed in this case.
