Started Periods Yesterday. Had Vomitting, Chestpains, Breathing Difficulty, Numbness In Arms, Clear Liquid Discharge From Anus After Few Hours. Reason?
Hi i began my period for this month yesterday. A few hours after i started, i began vomitting (which lasted all day) i was having chest pains and it was hard to breathe, i felt very close to passing out, my arms went numb, and a clear liquid discharge was coming out of my anus. I also felt very sharp pains in my abdominal which seemed to come in patterns. I woke up fine today just a lil nauseous and weak. What could be wrong?
Hi, Thanks for the query. According to your description, there is possibility of pelvic inflammatory disease. Pelvic infection can lead to increased pain during periods. Can cause nausea, vomitings. As the local blood supply to the pelvic organs increases during periods, that can irritate the rectal mucosa and can lead to discharge. This will be aggrevated in pelvic infection. Usually these symptoms will be more prominent during first one or two days. So if the symptoms recur in next cycles or symptoms like vaginal discharge etc occur in between the cycles, consult gynecologist once and get examined. Go for ultrasound with her advice. By these the possible cause for your problem can be pointed out and can be treated. Take care.
