Starting Today, My Nose Has Been Stinging. It's Like When

Starting today, my nose has been stinging. It's like when you smell or eat a red onion, and your nose stings and eyes water. I do have allergies to pet dander, pollen, and dust, but I took pills this morning and never before had this stinging in my nose. The weird part about it is that it happens out of no where. I'll be sitting in class and the stinging will start and stay for about 30 seconds and my eyes will water so bad that I have to keep them closed, and I feel like I have to sneeze but can't. Then it will go away and come back for another 30 seconds like 15 minutes later.

I have just started wearing glasses and my friend said she heard that could cause something like this somehow.
I also put in prescribed eye drops this morning to treat an eye problem. Could the stinging be a side affect of that?
Blowing my nose did not help it, but the air coming out of my nose is really hot.
