Stinging And Watering From The Eyes. What Is Causing This?
At random, one eye or the other spontaneously begins to sting and water badly. This happens about once every few days. No eye make-up, nothing has been sprayed in the air, I haven't been touching near my eye. After a few minutes, it stops and I'm back to normal. This started happening a few months ago (winter). What is causing this?

Hi,Stinging and watering badly in winter may be suggestive of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.It may be due to any triggering factor which is precipitating the cause.Just use some anti allergy eye drops like olapatidine and some tear substitute like refresh tears.If it still persist show your nearest ophthalmologist....TC..Dr Ajay S Kar
