HI from past 4 days my stomach is bloated . my last mensutral cycle was on 1st feb . I had intercouse wiith my husband on 5th and then 8th feb . I took I pill( EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTIVE ) after 48 hrs of having sex . can i be pregnant ? i am feeling lot of air in my stomach and acidity . can it be after affect of the medicine its been 5 days but there is no imrovement . Suddenyly within a week i feel i have gaibed lot of weight around my tummy

Your chances of falling pregnant are very slim since you took the pill 48 hours later. Emergency contraceptive pill though most effective within the first 12 hours is known to have a remarkable effectiveness up to 72 hours after sexual exposure.
Side effects of the pill include nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, headache etc and generally clear off within 24 to 48 hours. It is less likely that the abdominal bloating you have is due to the pill. It could be due to indigestion or some other cause as well. However, if the symptom persists, it will be necessary you see a doctor.
