Stopped Taking Prodep Due To Trying To Conceive, Depression. Possible To Control Depression Without Medication?

hi i (female) was taking prodep from past 10 years .last 8 months back i left taking it. because my doctor said if we r planning to have a kid i should not take it.so with out his consultation i left taking it.but aft 8 months no iam feeling little depressed.does it effect my baby while taking prodep if i get consive. can i control my depression without medication.

Hello,
As you are on prodep from last ten years , now you want to leave it immediately, which can be possible by leaving antidepressant gradually and keep yourself busy in your family and your job all the time,you will feel definitely good and will conceive too, if you will be busy and tension free.You can take some light medicine instead of Prodep for some time i.e. Tab alprazolam 0.5 and than reduce to 0.25 and gradually leave it.
Along with this treatment you must take supplements such as IRON,Calcium and vitamins and anti-oxidents,so you can leave your antidepressants easily. Hope you will be benefited by this suggestion, good luck & take care.
