Strep Throat. Is It Safe To Take Four Penicillin Pills Within 6 Hours?
Hi I have strep throat and was given penicillin to take for 10 days. The doctor told me to take 2 pills twice daily (total) of 4 pills (300 mg each). I took my first dosage at 4:45 pm. The doctor said to take all 4 today but I saw her before noon - should I wait until tomorrow to take my second dosage? I don't know if it is safe to take four pills within 6 hours? I am a Female - 32 years old

As you have taken 2 tablets at 4.45 pm , you can take another two tablets tomorrow.
I suggest you to maintain 12 hours in between the doses.
It is not advised to take four pills with a gap of 6 hours.
And from tomorrow maintain 12 hours in between the doses.
