Strong Metallic Smell In Nose. Reasons ?

EVery now and again I get a strong metallic smell in my nose , it happened again last night in the supermarket when I was in the chiller section and its is still with me over 12 hours later, no one else can smell this, I have had it in the past while sat in a warm lounge so dont really associate it with the cold , can you help? Thank you AAAA

I can feel your concern
It can be due to fungal infection superimposed onto the foriegn body in your nose , need to be evaluated for further management.

Have a proper clinical examination
