Yesterday night I was stung on my upper lip by what I think is a mosquito. In the morning my lip started swelling . 24 hrs later the whole face is swelling? What could this be? Besides I am taking Ketoconazole tablets against tinea , done 16 out of 30 days dosage. Additionally am also applying candiderm cream in my neck and face.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Most likely it is an exaggerated allergic response to the mosquito sting. You have to take some anti allergic drugs and anti inflammatory to counteract this. If the symptoms increases with much discomfort, then your treating doctor may not hesitate to add a steroidal drug in addition.
Wishing you an early recovery.
