Sudden Redness And Warmth In Nose And Cheek Areas. History Of TIA. What Could This Be?

For the past two days, I have experienced sudden redness and warmth in the nose and cheek areas. It doesn't seem to be associated with any particular activity. I'm somewhat concerned because 9 years ago I had a TIA with no damage. I take Plavix and a low=dose aspirin every day.

Hi,

I can undertaken your concern for the possibility of Transient ischemic attacks (TIA) by the feeling of sudden redness and warmth in nose and cheek areas.

In my opinion it is not a sign of Transient ischemic attacks do not manifest in this manner. Rather there might be some local factor which may be causing it.

You prevent sun exposure and exposure to the direct environmental factors such as cold air and heat on the face.

You can apply cortisone cream for a period of 7 days on the affected area.

Take care.
