Sudden Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen. History Of Past Pregnnacy Issues. Should I Wait Till Prenatal Check Up?

Hello I m 4 1/2 weeks, today when I yelled at my dog for snapping at me, I got a sharp pain in both sides of my lower abdomen. It was only during the moment I raised my voice. Also I have pain (like cramping) that switches back and forth every so often. Not sharp, just annoying. I m concerned because of past pregnancy issues and also suffered a MC in Oct. Should I go in to the hospital? Or wait till my prenatal? I want to X out the ectopic pregnancy. I m not spotting or having shoulder pain. What could this be from ? I just want a healthy baby.

Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your worries. Lower abdominal pain especially in early pregnancies is not something to be neglected and ectopic pregnancy needs to be ruled out. You do not need to have spotting or shoulder pain before you think of ectopic pregnancy. Another cause of lower abdominal pain in pregnancy cloud be threatened miscarriage. In my opinion, I would advise you to consult a doctor for proper assessment.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
